Adventurers Dive Log: Scuba Diving in Barbados

Scuba Diving Barbados

Prolific Reefs and fantastic Shipwrecks make up the scuba diving on this tiny island, located east of the Caribbean in the Atlantic Ocean. Barbados is built upon a base of coral. It is located well south of the "Hurricane Belt". The North and east side of the island is exposed to the full force of the Atlantic Ocean. Surf's Up! Most of the diving is on the southern and western parts of the island. From the wreck of the S.S. Stavronikita to the shipwreck Friars Craig, Barbados has wreck diving for all levels of divers. Turtles are plentiful, especially the Hawksbill.
