Scuba Diving in Cuba
Cuba is one of the largest islands in the Caribbean. It is also one of the poorest countries in the world and thus one of the more affordable diving vacation destinations in the Islands. Since the down fall of the Soviet Union Cuba has been more open to foreign investment and once again is attracting large numbers of tourists from both North America and Europe. The reefs are fished out in some areas as the locals use the sea as a source for well needed food. Other areas are populated with the usual Angelfish, eels, and snapper found through out the Caribbean.
