About the Dive

Exposure: beach faces due South (180 degrees).
Entry: sandy beach.
Dive profile: gradual enrty to about 30ft dive depth.
Areas of interest: most of the intersting diving is along the left or right shore. Straight out is more sandy bottom.

There is a nice park for families and picnic tables for lunch the water is about 100 yd from the parking lot. Easy enough to suit up at your car and walk across the street. There is a fast food restaurant right next to the parking lot. And Port-a-potties on site. This is a very convenient dive site and very pretty. We recommend it as a site for beginners and experienced divers alike.

Note:

This site is closed to divers during the "beach season", check for exact dates. On 14-May-95 it was still open to divers.
